3 Delicious Smoothie Recipes!

As the temperatures start to rise, you may want to cool off with a fresh, sweet smoothie. These smoothies are nutritious, tasty, and easy to make. As we discover new flavors, this post will be updated in the future.

Strawberry Banana


This simple and refreshing smoothie is a great way to start your morning. Makes two servings.

ingredients:

  • 3/4 Cup any plant-based milk

  • 1 banana

  • 1 cup strawberries (Fresh or Frozen)

  • 1/2 cup ice (if using fresh berries)

Procedure:

First, pour the plant-based milk into a blender. Next, add the banana, strawberries, and/or ice. Blend until smooth.


Mixed Berry


My personal favorite, this smoothie includes creamy greek yogurt and a mouth-watering mixed-berry blend. Makes two servings.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Plant-Based Milk

  • 1/2 Cup Plain or Vanilla Greek Yogurt

  • 1 Banana

  • 1 cup Fresh or Frozen Mixed Berries ( Any mixture of Blueberries, Strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

  • 1/2 Cup ice (If using fresh berries)

Procedure:

First, pour the plant-based milk into a blender. Next, add the banana, greek yogurt, berries, honey, and/or ice. Blend until smooth.




Green Smoothie


Load up on nutritious, antioxidant-packed leafy greens with this sweet and refreshing beverage! Feel free to substitute mango and/or pineapple with your favorite tropical fruits. Makes two servings.

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Plant-Based Milk

  • 1 Banana

  • 1 Cup Spinach or Kale

  • 1/2 Cup Mango (Preferably Frozen)

  • 1/2 Cup Pineapple (Preferably Frozen)

Procedure:

First, pour the plant-based milk into a blender. Next, add the leafy greens and blend until no leafy chunks remain. Then, add the banana, mango, and pineapple to your green mixture. Blend again until smooth.

Optional Add-ons


ingredients that can be added to any smoothie for additional flavor or a nutritional boost. (These are not part of the original recipes)

  • Flax, chia, or hemp seeds

  • protein powder

  • Moringa powder

  • Maca root Powder

  • Nut butter

These look delicious! The videos are very helpful as well. 🙂 Can the plant-based milk be replaced with regular milk if plant-based milk is not on hand?
